A Think Tank for Community Change
"To tackle the unemployment rate in the Nyamirambo community in Kigali in order to improve the standards of living."
We believe every young person in Nyamirambo holds untapped creative potential. Our mission is to build the systems, tools, and networks that transform that potential into real economic opportunity — through arts, design, and culture.
Based at Nyamirambo Arts House, we work directly with the community, conducting field research, stakeholder interviews, and co-designing solutions with the youth we serve.
A Gap Too Large to Ignore
Despite Rwanda's notable progress in job creation, a significant gap remains — and in communities like Nyamirambo, the barriers run deep.
Unemployment rate in Nyamirambo — youth lack access to practical education, business skills, startup capital, and viable markets.
Jobs not created between 2017–2023 against Rwanda's national NST2 target of 1.5 million jobs.
Of creative youth lose potential clients due to having no online presence or digital showcase for their work.
"How can creativity be utilized to increase sustainable jobs by 80% in Nyamirambo by 2030 to increase people's standards of living?"
